AllWays Health Partners names new CFO

September 16, 2021 (SOMERVILLE, MA) – AllWays Health Partners (AllWays) announced today that it has named Lucy Silva, a senior finance executive with more than two decades of experience, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 13.  Her role will include supporting the value-based care model AllWays is advancing with Mass General Brigham.

Silva’s specific tasks will include providing leadership and strategic direction for system-wide payer finance strategies, managing relationships internally and externally to build and advance risk-based products and services offered through Mass General Brigham, and driving the innovation of products, services and shared savings models.

Silva’s health care experience includes serving as CFO of Thundermist Health Center, a community health system in Rhode Island, and Director of Finance at Care New England Health System, a network of non-profit hospitals in the Ocean State.  She also has experience in the technology sector and has held positions at Dominion Diagnostics, Sensata Technologies and ON Semiconductor.

“Lucy’s unique experience positions her to provide financial leadership in support of AllWays’ technology-enabled, value-based care strategy with Mass General Brigham,” said Steven Tringale, President, AllWays Health Partners.  “She is an important addition to our executive team and our ongoing effort to improve health outcomes while holding down costs as part of an integrated system.”

“This is an exciting time to be joining the AllWays and Mass General Brigham team, which is creating a uniquely integrated, customer-focused experience,” said Lucy Silva, Chief Financial Officer, AllWays Health Partners.  “I look forward to the opportunity to develop financial strategies that support the creation of new products and collaborations through a value-based model.”

Mass General Brigham's value-based care strategy enables health care services to be delivered in the most appropriate, cost-effective, and convenient setting, whether it is in a physician's office, an academic medical center, a community-based provider, in front of a computer, or on a mobile phone.  Value-based initiatives already launched include “Allies,” a network product developed by AllWays and Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and “Down Syndrome Clinic to You,” an automated program, developed by Massachusetts General Hospital and MassGeneral Hospital for Children, to connect families and physicians with personalized information and guidance.

Silva succeeds Joseph Capezza, who is retiring.
